well, i got work to do today, it my day off and i'm cleaning! (yes, i really do like to) My house can get unorganized quickly.

Batman (pt2 review)

Ok, my post yesterday talked about my first experience playing the new batman game - Arkham Asylum. (official site here)

and now this is pt. 2 which i'll go into more detail.

First off, the demo was only 1 mode - Challenge mode. Since the game isn't fully finished there were a little bugs in the graphics. That will get polished when it is done. The demo was only for PS3 (i'm looking fwd to the xbox demo). A friend and manager of gamestop told me they just got the demo in and I ran strait to it.

The fighting system is the main thing i was most impressed by. 1 button is worth a thousand words... errr ass kicking more like it. Its amazing how just the press of 1 button can do so much. They made it very simple and very enjoyable. Its never the same punch/kick either and its how you use the controller. Once you get the hang of it you can stack up a huge combo just using that 1 button and knowing how to move correctly. There is another button which is just amazing, the counter attack button, it is flawless. With that then pressing the normal attack button you can do so much. The fighting is really fast pace and nonstop so you have to keep on your toes and always remember to use your counter strike because you'll be facing against groups of bad guys and they all attack you from all sides. Again its all how you move in the game.

Its kind of hard to explain.

Lets say this bad guy comes up from behind and tries to kick you, press the counter button, you'll grab his leg turn around and back fist him (it varies) then throw him, you then, while in the same motion, can more to another guy and then hit him, and you can do this nonstop till they are all down. It sound easy enough but you can get in trouble if you aren't paying attention to guys around you. anytime your moving around someone can come up behind, side etc.. and get you.

This is the most exciting game i've ever played. I'm impressed how well this turned out. Again i don't know how the full game plays but the Challenge mode is amazing. BTW this mode is you in a prison block area fighting groups of guys (each time getting larger and smarter even weapons as you go)

You don't fight against any named villains, i'm very curios how the fighting them would be like.

There is also different modes you can select that allow you to see differently. I didn't play around with that to much, but one mode is a x-ray mode you can pin point the person's bone while attacking.

and of course you can throw your bat stars etc.. i didn't play with that to much either. I was to busy melee fighting, that's just how awesome it is, you forget about everything else lol

Never have i played a game with a fighting system this great. I'm lost for words atm, I knew it looked good but wow, its amazing. I hope i get another xbox by the time it comes out. this is one i cannot miss out on!

Well, i still don't have enough to get another xbox 360... its kind of sad. I think about how well i was doing in SF4 and all that Left 4 Dead playtime... etc... I wonder if I'll ever get back to the rank i was at on SF4... I'm so behind on it, i don't even want to know.

why don't you donate a little to a fallen gamer... please... lol

all i want is the $199 xbox. my old HD is still good. It's a bit hard to even try to save that up atm. I really need a new job or a PT job (which i've applied at so many places for PT and still no calls)

I still have no clue why Adsense dropped me... i can't find anything about it. I can't even contact them... wtf I had a good amount of $$ racked up too... i was looking forward to getting that and add it to my xbox 360 fund. but for some weird reason right before they sent me a check,,, i get dropped? i'm still not happy about that... oh well. screw them

Well hello there. Yes, the pic you see is a photo of my monitors and as you can tell I am a WoW addict lol because you know... no one knows that right? lol

to the point... I'm lv 77 tonight (cheer with me.. ready? Yay!) I'm trying hard to hurry up and catch up w/ my buds. I shouldn't of took that break... oh well, i needed a little time away from WoW

in other news...
Still no Xbox and i'm really missing Street Fighter 4 and Left 4 Dead... damnit this sucks. again, please donate and help the 'LordT6 needs a new xbox cause fund driver thingy' hehe.

ah, one more thing. This morning on my way to work my check engine lite came on. Hopefully it's nothing to bad. I don't have another car... I'm taking it to the dealership tomorrow after I drop of my g/f at work. If its gotta stay overnight... then i hope one of my friends can drive me home because it will be one very long ass walk. yes, its still under warranty (unlike my dead xbox which is a paper weight) I drive a Kia Spectra btw if anyone is wondering... 10yr/100k warranty Its a 2007 I got it brand new and I only have about 35000 miles i think.

well, i'm kind of sleepy. I didn't get much sleep last nite, I was up really late... more on that later. Its bed time...

PC gaming...

Well, i've been really bored at work. My pc here sucks but its good enough to run the older games... I loaded the classic FPS of all time - DOOM. Man its been awhile since I played this. I spent hours on this when I was younger. Me and a friend loaded it on all the school PCs lol we also loaded some other like Wolfenstein and Raise of the Trade (that was a awesome multiplayer fps back in the day, we played that everyday on the school's PC lol) The best thing about back then, our teachers didn't care. They didn't know anything about these type of games. We had huge LAN games going on with every kid in PC class. Good times...

Back to the present, so yeah I loaded it on this PC. Its weird seeing DOS start up. I bet the majority of kids now days have no idea what DOS is lol. I've been playing DOOM on here for the past couple of days on and off. It sure looks different now I go back to it. The graphics were cutting edge back then... not so now.

Because of this all I decided to dust off DOOM 3 and loaded it on my PC. I didn't get why they called it DOOM 3 when it was a remake of DOOM. It gave it way better graphics and a much scarier environment.

I really loved DOOM as you can tell, and still do lol DOOM opened the FPS world to me.

Well, moving on. I've been playing WoW a lot more again. I'm almost 77 (good god its taking forever) I feel kind of like a n00b and shamed because i've been playing WoW since '04. I should have a few lv80s now... but i did take a break. Now i'm rested and back at full speed. I should be lv80 in no time and get my Tier 7 gear.

well, i only have $18 something on my Edgecard for gamestop... that is about $190 (after tax) i need to get to buy a new xbox (the arcade one) i've ran out of things to sell lol

i do have a extra controller i can sell i guess, since i'll be getting another w/ the system. not sure how much i can get that for.

I can also sell one of my Crate bass amps, its a comb with 1 15in speaker. It's still good, i only used it a handful of times. I was even thinking about selling my 5-string bass. I don't use either anymore really.

Also, I saw some screenshots of Dead Rising 2... wow. I can't wait for that one, i saw them in the new gamer informer. also had a nice preview on bioshock 2, that looks good as well.

whoa... its back

Well, i woke up this morning and found that I have cable once again. I felt like a little kid at Christmas lol
First thing i did was tune into Dexter's Laboratory (i love that cartoon)

now i can check everything, play WoW and... crap my 360 is still toast so no xboxLive man i don't even want to think how far my ranking has gone down on Street Fighter 4, I was moving up kind of high blah

I cannot access my email. it says i'm suspended because i haven't paid... i guess i'll have to wait till business hours to get it up again, my bank isn't showing a withdraw to them yet. I guess the computer they use sees i'm going to be paying it turned the other stuff on.

Well, all my stuff to repair my 360 came in the other day. I tried to repair it this afternoon... no luck. 3 red ring of death...

I'm going to try it again later... i was kind of depressed. I tried in halo 3 & my GH guitar controllers for in-store credit at gamestop... it only got me like $18.00 so, i still have a long ways to pay for the 199.99 arcade xbox (since all i have to do is put my HD onto it)

Please, if you can donate a little. It can really help, i'm also in the hole and barely making it as it is. I had to sell all my games... I only have Left 4 dead, street fighers 4 and gears of war (tried to sell it but it has little scratches) a 3 whole games now lol I had to sell others to get a little extra $$ to eat. Yeah, I sometimes have to go w/o eating or 1 little meal (canned food) a day... thats how bad it is...

anyways... I'm going to try again tomorrow and take some pics...

World of Warcrack

well, i've been on WoW trying to lv up my main and others. I also made another toon, a blood elf warlock named Rastenlin (try to guess where i got that idea, they wouldn't let me use the real name of this person so i did something close)

I'm still waiting for my parts for the 360... once i get them (hopefully today) i'll work on it asap. Cross your fingers... i really want to play street fighter 4 (my ranking has most likely dropped.. (>.<) ) and Left 4 Dead.

ok, that is all for now. I'm at work, i get off at 1500hrs but i have to stick around till 1700hrs for my g/f aka Yarnhall thats what time she gets off.

I have always been a Ghostbusters fan since first seeing it when I was a kid. I've played all the crappy Ghostbuster games that were out back in the day... man they were crappy, more so now that I look back on them.

This game looks amazing. I've been waiting for this since I first heard about it and its finally coming out in June! Check this trailer:

Now, for all those that have played this game back when they were kids (not many know about this game, I can't believe that!) but this is one game that I spent many hours playing, over and over... I heard about this new one last year and I was like a school girl at a Backstreet show.

Well, as you know from my other post; my xbox 360 had died... I'm going to try to fix it myself (no warranty) and the case. I've modded PCs before and well, why not my xbox? I won't do this to a new one w/ a warranty and I don't recommend anyone doing that...

I'll post photos and updates of the progress. It might take a little while to get it the way I have planned.

well, life w/o my 360 or WoW isn't the same... Hopefully i can get a new prepaid card for WoW soon.

I've been playing since '04, as my little WoW box down to the left states... I took a little break (leveling to 80 kind of drove me crazy lol) and started to do some other toons... then I decided to take a break all together... and the day I was about to come back was when my time was up... which is also the day my 360 died... it was Friday 13th... figures.. lol

Last nite I went w/ my friend Rance Adams (TXA/UPN 21 host) to help w/ covering a MMA fight by XKO. I did such a good job, the production ppl asked me to do not only those events but there other events like PCW (much like ECW)... so im excited about that. Rance was going to have me work more with him as well doing some video/music editing and being a camera guy on a few things.

well... just wanted to make a post... i'm bored sitting here at work.

To all my xbox 360 buds and people i've ran across... if your reading this, I'll return as soon as I get a new xbox or if i can fix this one. (going to try to do it myself.. what do i have to lose? its out of warranty anyway)

my xbox 360,,, is dead

Well, I've gone through about 3 or 4 xbox 360s; all which were shipped off in coffins and repaired. But yesterday, after about 2-3years of working ok... my xbox died... and I have no warranty...

Lets start with a few months back...

I noticed every now and then my xbox would mess up, either weird looking screen:


Or 1 red ring followed by the E74 screen... or no video at all...

But, it always worked it's self out when I restarted...

This has been going on for a little while... recently no video has been coming up almost everytime I start my xbox... I just restarted once or twice then bam, its back. Rarely the screen was messed up and I got the E74 maybe a couple of times...

Yesterday, I turned my xbox on... no video, no problem i'll restart it...nothing, restart again... nothing

I even went out early this morning and spent a little over $15.00 on a new cable... that was a waste of money.. it didn't work. I tried everything... display reset, switched from normal av to hd... nothing..

I read some things online and others have had this... something w/ the video output just dies due to overheating, playing to much, etc...

It will cost over $100 w/o warranty... I rather just go out and buy a new one... which i'll be doing when i get the $$ at some point... till then... no more street fighter 4... no left 4 dead... no halo, no netflix, no acarde games... nothing.. oh and to top it off... my WoW time card is used up,,, and i don't have the money atm to get another... yay.

I still have my old xbox, but no games (i sold them all) but at least i can watch dvds because i relied on my 360 to watch them.. and HD-DVDs which will just have to sit there...

ok this is long enough... i'll stop here and have a moment of silence for my falling friend.... *sob*

Its finally here!

The game looks sweet and amazing. I'll be for sure getting it once i get some $$ for it (for 360 of course hehe)
I'm even tempted to buy the RE5 xbox lol

I beat Street Fight IV, now wait a min... I beat it many times, I've unlocked all characters and all that good stuff... but I beat it on Hardest w/o losing a match!!! yes, thats right... w/o losing. I'm proud of myself... (either clap or roll your eyes here)

I'm almost at 200+ wins online now...

well, i'm at work atm... so back to work i go. just wanted to make a little post about gta expansion that looks awesome and my sf4 update...

last nite i unlocked all characters in Street Fighter 4. yay! (this is were you cheer with me,,, hello? eh, oh well)

Now to beat the game w/ everyone on all settings
speaking of settings... I tried it on hard (there is a hardest as well) I didn't lose a fight all the way up to Seth... he is almost impossible to beat on hard... I tried countless times till i finally gave up, my thumb was hurting lol

Street Fight 4 is the best fighting game i've played in awhile.
